About me
I am a teacher who is passionate about learning and teaching Math. Growing up, I had a lot of anxiety toward the subject, but through perseverance and mentors who showed me that there is no one way to solve for a problem, I have grown a more positive attitude towards the subject.
My goal as an educator is to encourage my students to have a positive attitude towards Math, to embrace mistakes and learn from them, and help students, especially girls, to see the beauty in the subject.
It's been two years since I discovered the Building Thinking Classrooms. I've used it several times in the classroom and I've seen the wonderful engagement it promotes. I would like to learn more about it through the speakers and fellow math educators. Please share with me your tips and tricks!
