Building Thinking Classrooms 2025 Annual Conference

I’m a middle school math teacher with 19 years of experience, currently teaching at Dixie Middle School in New Lebanon Local Schools. I’m passionate about student growth, equity in education, and supporting teachers through collaboration and mentorship. I hold the Ohio Master Teacher designation and serve on our Building Leadership Team, helping to shape curriculum and instructional practices. I mentor new teachers as a Resident Educator Mentor and have supported educators nationally through my former role as a math coach and community manager with Mix and Math. I was recently honored to be selected as the 2026 Ohio Teacher of the Year for District 3.
