About me
Tom Lewis is a K–12 math coach, content specialist, and educational consultant with over 35 years of experience in education. He has served as a classroom teacher, administrator, and academic specialist, and currently supports districts, schools, and educators across Northern California. Tom is a passionate advocate for student voice, inclusion, and equitable access to mathematics. In his current role, he leads the implementation of the Building Thinking Classrooms (BTC) framework districtwide, facilitates leadership cohorts, and designs professional learning aligned with the California Math Framework. Tom brings deep experience and practical insight to his work, helping educators transform classrooms into spaces where all students can think, engage, and thrive.
