About me
Judith Fabrega, PhD, is an early childhood educator and mathematics education specialist with a deep commitment to nurturing young learners' curiosity and mathematical thinking. With extensive experience teaching preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten in both Spain and the United States, Judith brings a rich, equitable perspective to early mathematics education.
She earned her master’s degree from UC Berkeley and completed a PhD in Mathematics Education for Early Childhood at the University of Florida. As a professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, she focused on mathematics education and the preparation of pre-service early childhood teachers, helping to shape strong foundational practices for the classroom.
Currently, Judith leads the Early Years Learning Team at Innovamat, where she creates engaging math content and supports teacher development. Her work bridges academic research with impactful classroom practice, promoting meaningful mathematical learning and more equitable experiences for all children.
